Dear friends all over the world,

Now, that we are at home again, going on with our daily work, I want to tell you a bit about our meeting in Costa Rica.

The latinoamerican group met in San José, on Sunday the 23th april 2006, exactly one year after our first big meeting in Lyon, to start with the second part of our training program.
It was a great joy for all of us, to see each other again, and to have a few days ahead, to be working and learning together.

Our meeting took place at the same time and location than the Lidership Conference 2006. And we were there to train our journalistic skills. So one of our first activities was to learn about what a blogg is, and how to use it. Then Josias and Rodrigo created a blog to inform about this conference (http://conferencialiderazgo2006.blogspot.com). Afterwards we posted the articles we wrote and the interwievs we made to the diferent church liders, on that blog.

Everyone of us did diferent activities such as taking pictures, taping video, reporting or writing articles. And as everyone of us had more experience in a differet area, we could learn from the experience of each other.
During this experience we have always been accompanied and helped by the members of the advisor team (Karin, Nuria and Heitor) from theLutheran World Federation.

We also had a time to speak about how our projects are going on, which were the difficulties we found, and how we plan to continue.

At the last day of the lidership conference we presented our work: each one of us spoke about his (or her) proyect, and at the end we presented the blog we had created for the conference. Church liders were grately surprised of our work!

Althoug we wish we had had more time for exchanging our knowledges in different software programms (like photoshop for example) and for getting some new skills we could use in our daily work in comunication, we are happy that we have been given this opportunity to meet again. This meeting has motivated us to continue working with enthusiasm in our proyects, and contributing to the comunications of our churches.
